Let's Get CREATIVE

Words can transform business situations and they can also transform our personal llives. My use of words extends into more creative forms of writing, and I am working on a number of projects that I plan to launch in due course. Read more about these projects below.

What else we do...

A wonderful world of words

My passion for words finds expression in...

Poetry in motion

I love writing poetry, and am in the process of writing two books covering topics that are important to me. In the meantime, here are tiny snippets from a couple of my poems, which I hope you enjoy:

From 'A true love story, warts and all'

Turned out what he’d started as a fling had stuck

Like a limpet that he couldn’t shake off

His long-held peccadilloes had cemented

And the figment of fidelity was a pipe dream

His voiced benign intentions hid the reality

Of ongoing trysts, and he was again caught in flagrante

From 'Red wine and coke'

You poured red wine into the coke

I thought, ‘This guy’s having a joke’

A strange sangria or kooky cocktail?

Whatever. It just made me want to bail

My appetite gone, food left on my plate

I said, ‘Oh gosh, it’s getting late’

You didn’t let good food go to waste

You polished off my leftovers with rude haste

Time to pay, and you got the bill

Then said, ‘I’ll pay for mine at the till’

By now it was clear you were just a loser

Such a shame, cos I’d wanted a schmoozer

Etiquette - rules we ought not to abandon

I am writing a book on etiquette for office workers. I was raised as a diplomat’s daughter, and for the first 25 years of my life observed my father and mother interact professionally and socially with senior dignitaries, politicians and royalty. I attended a leading girls public school in the UK where I experienced a deep exposure to British life and manners.

My background was key to building a 25-year career in public relations, where among other skills my application of good etiquette helped me attain professional and personal success. I am passionate about sharing this understanding with a new generation of up-and-coming professionals.

This book will provide 30 tips on good etiquette habits you should consider which, alongside other important aspects of performance, could help you  build a successful  career.

Let me tell your story

Storytelling is how we convey events or narrative in words and images, often using improvisation or embellishment.

Everyone loves stories! They’re one of the first ways in which parents interact with their children. And in fact people have been sharing stories in every culture verbally and in pictures even before they could write.

Stories are often used to entertain, educate, preserve culture and instil values. We can create stories in words and images for people who want to capture an important family event or historical narrative in an engaging format. Contact us for formats and prices...
